She is a Contributing Editor for Seventeen Magazine, where she works to provide tons of (teen-friendly) advice in a kind, supportive way. She served for several years as Editor of the All But Dissertation Survival Guide, a twice monthly email newsletter focusing on helping graduate students complete their doctoral dissertations. Rachna’s articles have been featured in online and print publications such as Coaches Corner, Solo-E.com, LifeCoach Magazine, WebProNews, PowerHomeBiz, Entrepreneurnewz, The Business Monthly, Sales & Marketing Excellence- among many, many others.
She is a nationally recognized expert in several areas, having been interviewed for publications such as: The Washington Post, Ladies Home Journal, Fortune Small Business, Redbook, Self, Entrepreneur Magazine, Weight Watchers.com, Shape, Cosmopolitan, First for Women, Fitness Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Selling Power, Energy for Women, MomsToday.com, All You Magazine, Teenagers Today, AdamandDrew.com, Woman’s Day, The Daily Times, The Greater Baton Rouge Business Reporter, Bankrate.com, and Tolerance.org, and having appeared on Top 10 radio and NBC’s Today Show.
Prior to becoming a full-time coach, Dr. Jain worked as a psychologist for several years, and has specialized training in both neuropsychology and couples therapy. She holds a Psy.D. (Doctor of Psychology) degree from the University of Denver, and is licensed as a psychologist in the State of Maryland.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys cooking, and is also an avid world traveller - making it a point to travel to a new international destination at least every two years. Her most recent trip was to Italy, where she especially enjoyed Rome & Venice.
