Actively cultivate a positive attitude.
The more actively you cultivate a positive attitude, the happier you’ll be during the dissertation process. The happier you are about the process, the more likely you are to work on the dissertation. The more you work on the dissertation, the more likely you are to finish it. If you find that your thinking is negative and your attitude is poor, this will reflect in your work. You’re more likely to avoid, procrastinate, and to almost always select the most difficult way to accomplish your goals. You can tell if you have a positive attitude (or not) based on how you feel. If you feel good, you’re on the right track. If you don’t feel good, it means your negative thoughts and feelings are in charge. Take all the actions you can to cultivate a positive mindset and attitude. This will only benefit you in the long run- both in the dissertation process, and in your life.
