Too much to do, and too little time.

Well, the holiday season has hit- full force. I’m running around with a lot to do, and not much time to get it all done. I’m wondering if it’s the same for you? Here are a few tips to be more efficient, both in the dissertation & in life: Don’t multitask. Research shows that you can lose as much as 15% of your productivity switching too frequently from task to task. Instead, prioritize and work in larger chunks of time, where possible. Do the most important things first- this will give you maximum return for your time investment. Keep a sense of perspective. When we dread tasks, we always feel that they will take much more time than they truly might.
